Come join us at Columbus Air Force Base for our Mississippi Father's Day AutoX June 15-16, 2024. Gates open at 8am.  Registration will close at 9:30AM the day of the event.  Expect a driver's meeting around 10:30, and first car out shortly after. 

Cost is $35 for one day, $55 for both days until the Friday before the event. SCCA membership required for all participants, or $20 for a weekend membership. 

Cost will increase to $40 for one day or $60 for both days after the Friday before the event.

Online payment is available for credit cards or you can choose skip payment and finish registration to pay cash on-site.

** Access to Columbus Air Force Base (CAFB) is restricted. All persons, except Columbus Air Force Base personnel and dependents, must complete the Military Base Access Form once per year. Anyone not on the MBAF list will be denied access to the base. Make sure the base access form is filled out and submitted before Noon Sunday June 9th.

!!New CAFB Rules!!  

1: Only street legal vehicles will be allowed to participate. Could your car be registered to drive on the street? If the answer is yes, then you are good to go.

2: Nothing can be left on base overnight Saturday night.  All vehicles and trailers must leave the base property even if you plan to run Sunday.

3: Only standard fuels (pump fuels) may be used.  Any and all fuel spills must be reported to the CAFB Fire Department.  You are highly encouraged to fuel your vehicle before coming to the site.

 

 

 

Event requirements

All 2024 SCCA Solo rules apply. 

Anybody under the age of 18 must fill out a minor waiver and parental consent form online( SCCA Waivers ). They also must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardian. 

All participants will be asked to show their drivers license as well as SCCA member card. 

If you choose to become a new member of the Mississippi Region, you can attend your first autocross event free of charge. 

Regular membership dues are $95 annually
Family membership dues are $120 annually
Military (full-time) dues are $79 annually
First Gear (age 24 and under) dues are $65 annually

You are strongly encouraged to manage your membership online at scca.com, although you can join the day of the event if desired. If you join within a week or two of the event, you may not be on our most recent membership list. In that case, be sure to write down your membership number and bring it with you to the event.  Bring your current SCCA membership card with you. 

MSSCCA uses the PAX Index for scoring and is broken into 5 Trophy/Championship points groups:

1) CAM/XS Group - Classic American Muscle and Extreme Street

2 )Street Group - All Street classes

3) Street Touring Group - All Street Touring classes

4) Race Tire Group - All remaining classes that do not require 200 tread wear tires

5) Novice Group - Anybody competing that has had 5 or less career autocross events anywhere without winning MSSCCA Novice Season Points Championship prior to the 2024 race season. Any racer who begins the 2024 season as a novice will continue the entire season as a novice.

Season Points Championships

Competitors in each of the 5 above listed PAX groups will compete for a Group Season Points Championship. 10 points will be scored for a 1st place driver, 8 for 2nd, 7 for 3rd, 6 for 4th, 5 for 5th, 4 for 6th.  3 points will be scored by any driver who makes at least 1 run at an event and places below 6th.  Missed events will be counted as 0 points.  At the end of the season the top scoring 75% events will be added together for each driver.  (example: highest 8 event scores in a 10 event season)  The driver with the highest points in each group is the Champion.  Drivers who enter different groups throughout the season will only combine the points within each group not all together in aggregate.(example: street points stay in Street, CAM/XS points stay in CAM/XS)
